As Jesus-shaped leaders, we need to imitate Jesus not only in his lifestyle and teachings, but also in his works--which include supernatural healing, prophetic revelation, and other spiritual gifts. Unfortunately, many of us have been put off this by experiencing dysfunctional, manipulative or unbiblical practices. But we can learn to function in biblical, respectful, godly ways that also allow the Holy Spirit to work with power in our lives. In this huddle we will spend five weeks exploring how to "follow the way of love and eagerly desire the spiritual gifts, especially prophecy," as the Bible tells us to.

God is a God who wants to communicate with his children! Each week, we will practice listening to God together through a variety of reflective exercises. We will practice listening to God for ourselves and for each other. After each exercise, we will have the opportunity to share how God is grabbing our attention and inviting us to draw closer to Him.

Over the course of six weeks, we will look at different ways God invites us to hear His voice and have the opportunity to practice listening together. We will learn to listen to God through art, scripture, our five senses, prayer of examen, memories, and silent prayer. God made each of us uniquely and wants to speak to us in different ways! Join us as we discover some of the ways God speaks.
